Our story
It started with a bad move
Anyone who has moved in Gauteng has a story: the crew that arrived four hours late, the “from R2 500” that became R6 800 on the day, the wardrobe that came off the truck in two pieces and an argument that went nowhere.
We started Just In Time because none of that is difficult to avoid. It just requires surveying the job before quoting it, employing crews rather than hiring casuals off a corner, and treating the arrival time as a commitment instead of an aspiration.
We are a young company and we are honest about that. What we are not is inexperienced — our crews have moved households and offices across this city for years, and the standards we work to were set by the moves we watched go wrong.
- Permanent, trained crews — not day labour
- Written, itemised quotes in rands, every time
- Goods-in-transit cover on every single load
- Local knowledge: complexes, estates, CBD towers, township access

How we work
Four rules we do not bend
Every crew is briefed on these before they are put on a truck.
Say the number
A quote is a promise, not an opening position. We survey properly so the figure we give you is the figure you pay.
Own the mistake
Things occasionally go wrong. When they do we log it the same day and come back with a fix within two working days.
Respect the house
Runners on the floors, protectors on the doorframes, shoes off where it matters. We leave a property as we found it.
Be where we said
It is literally the company name. Confirmed the afternoon before, and if we are running late you hear it from us first.
Kit & coverage
The trucks, the gear, the ground we cover
We run closed-body trucks from one-ton up to fourteen-ton, all fitted with load bars, ratchet straps and quilted moving blankets as standard — never rope and hope.
- One-ton to fourteen-ton closed-body trucks
- Tail-lifts for heavy and awkward items
- GPS tracking on every vehicle
- Piano dollies, appliance trolleys and stair-climbers
- Greater Johannesburg daily; all nine provinces weekly
- Cross-border into Botswana, Namibia, Eswatini and Mozambique

The point of all this
Moving day should be forgettable
Nobody wants a memorable move. The best possible outcome is that the truck arrives, the work happens, and by evening you are sitting on your own couch in a new place wondering what you were worried about.
That is the whole job. Everything else — the surveys, the wrapping, the labelling, the confirming and re-confirming — exists to make the day itself boring.
Phone us on 075 070 7535 and tell us about your move.
